Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 21 – 40 years for S.No- I, II, IV, V, 35 – 45 years for S.No-III as on 01-07-2017. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Post Graduate Degree in Mathematics or Mathematical Statistics or Commerce or Economics or Statistics with at least 55% marks from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognised by the Government or Two years Post Graduate Diploma in Statistics from an institute recognised by the Government/ knowledge of Hindi in Devnagri Script for S.No- I, Post Graduate Degree in the respective subject of a University established by law in India or a Degree recognized by the Govt for S.No-II, Graduate degree or Its equivalent qualification and good knowledge of Hindi and English for S.No-III, Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited Foreign University with at least 55% marks, cleared NET by U.G.C./ C.S.I.R. in the relevant subject or SLET of Uttar Pradesh in the relevant subject or SET in the relevant subject accredited by U.G.C, Ph.D. Degree in concerned discipline for S.No-IV, M.Sc./ M.Tech/ B.Tech./ M.C.A in relevantr discipline/ Post Graduate degree in Psychology/ Forensic Psychology or M.D. in Psychiatry for S.No-V with relevant experience.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written examination, screening test, interview.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 105/- (Rs. 80/- Exam fee + Rs. 25/- Online Processing Fee) for General & OBC, Rs. 65/- (Rs. 40/- Exam fee + Rs. 25/- Online Processing Fee) for SC/ ST Candidates and Rs. 25/- (Rs. 25/- Exam & Online Processing Fee) for Handicapped candidates through online by using Net Banking/ Card Payment/ Other payment modes. No fee for Dependents of the Freedom Fighters, Ex-Serviceman & Women Candidates.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.uppsc.up.nic.in from 17-03-2017 to 18-04-2017 & submit photocopies of their all academic/required documents regarding their claims along with print out of online application form through registered/ Speed Post or Personally in the office of the Commission on or before 09-05-2017 from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.
