Indian Institute Of Technology, Jammu has announced a notification for the recruitment of Junior Assistant, Junior Technical Superintendent (JTS), Senior Laboratory Assistant (SLA), Assistant Registrar, Junior Engineer (JE) (Electrical/ Civil)), Caretaker, Assistant Security Officer vacancies on temporary, contract basis. Eligible candidates may walk in written test/ interview.

Age Limit: Candidates age should be 40 years for Post 1, 35 years for Post 2, 3, 6, 7, 30 years for Post 4, 27 years for Post 5.
Educational Qualification:
1) Candidates should possess Master Degree or its equivalent in any discipline from a recognized University with 55 % marks or its equivalent Grade of B in the UGC seven points scale and consistently good academic record with relevant experience for Post 1.
2) Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Engineering (Electrical/ Civil Engineering) from a recognized university /Institute with at 60% of marks in the qualifying degree plus 02 years of relevant experience/ Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/ Civil Engineering) from a recognized university/ Institute (after 10+2) with at 60% marks in the qualifying degree plus 05 years of relevant experience for Post 2.
3) Master Degree in Science/ Computer Science or B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent qualification in appropriate field with 60% of marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute/ Bachelor’s Degree in Science or equivalent in appropriate field with 60% of marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute/ Diploma in Engineering/ Applied Science or equivalent in appropriate field (after 10+2) with 60% of marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute with knowledge of computer & relevant experience for Post 3, 4.
