Create a new Personal Geodatabase under your folder.
Right click on the folder New Click personal geodatabase
Key in a name(say your abbreviated name) Press Enter.
A Personal Geodatabase will be created with extension
.mdb
Note : A Geodatabases is an Object Oriented storage of
geographic data.
