Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), An Institution of National Importance Under the Ministry of Health, Government of India has advertised a notification for the recruitment of Teaching & Non Teaching (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor & Tutor) vacancies for various disciplines on contract basis. Name of the Posts: Teaching & Non Teaching
1. Professor: 10 Posts
2. Associate Professor: 07 Posts
3. Assistant Professor: 10 Posts
4. Tutor: 12 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age should be not exceeding 70 years for S.No-1, 50 years for 2, 3, 35 years for S.No-4 Posts as on closing date. Age relaxation is 5years in case of post reserved for SC / ST and 3years for the post reserved for OBC candidates as per rules of the GOI.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess A Medical qualification included in the I or II Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part II or third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section13 (3) of the Act.), Post Graduation qualification in relevant discipline for S.No-1 to 3, MBBS from a MCI recognized Institute or M.Sc. in concerned subject, have compulsory rotatory internship and must produce Internship completion certificate for MBBS Candidates for S.No-4 Posts with adequate experience. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on interview for S.No-1 to 3 Posts, Written Test and Interview for S.No-4 Posts.
Application Fee: Applicants required to pay Rs.500/- for UR & OBC and Rs.250 for SC & ST candidates in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favor of the Director, JIPMER, Puducherry payable at State Bank of India, JIPMER Branch (02238), Puducherry-605006.
