Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPC), Jammu has announced a notification for the recruitment of 371 Medical Officer vacancies in the Department of Health & Medical Education. Eligible candidates may apply online before 01-05-2017.

Age Limit: Candidates age should be 18- 40 years for Govt. Service, 18 to 42 years for Physically Challenged, 18 to 43 years for RBA/SC/ST/ALC/SLC, 18 to 48 years for Ex-serviceman candidates as on 01-01-2017.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess MBBS or Possession of recognized Graduation Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the 3rd Scheduled (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Selection Process: Short listed candidates will be called for written examination, oral test, and interview.
Examination Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.805/- for General, Rs. 405/- for Reserved candidates through online challan to be deposited in the J&K Bank branch.
