Total No.of Posts: 698
Name of the Posts: Sub Inspector
1. Executive: 482 Posts
2. Armed: 176 Posts
3. Telecommunication Wings: 40 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18-28 years as on 1st day of January 2016.
Educational Qualification:
For Executive and Armed wings: Candidates should possess Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.
For Telecommunication Wings: Candidates should possess Graduation from a recognized University in any one of the following stream like Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering or Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on PST, PET, written exam, Viva-Voce and Personality Assessment test.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 300/- through online or use the services of Common Service Centers & in case of non availability of online payment facility, deposit through Bank Challan.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply online through the website www.jkpolice.gov.in.
Last Date for Submission of Application: 30 days after the activation of link which will be notified separately in the second week of January 2017.
