Regular use of turmeric will keep common cold, cough and fever away. It is 5 to 8 times stronger than vitamin E and C, this antioxidant helps boost immunity.
  • Tea made of 1 teaspoon of powdered turmeric simmered in 2 cups of water for 5 mins will take care of the niggling dry cough.
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric mixed in a glass of warm milk will take care of a running nose.
